Tehran: Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian praised Pakistan’s significant role in promoting dialogue and regional stability during a meeting with Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces. The discussions focused on regional developments and peace initiatives.
According to Radio Pakistan, President Pezeshkian acknowledged Pakistan’s continuous efforts in facilitating peaceful dispute resolutions and fostering understanding amidst rising geopolitical tensions. The meeting underscored Pakistan’s dedication to peace and stability in the region, as reiterated by Field Marshal Munir.
Both parties expressed their intention to enhance Pakistan-Iran relations and maintain regular consultations on issues of common interest, aiming to promote peace, prosperity, and stability throughout the region.
