Iranian Embassy Decries Attack on Pakistani Nationals

Islamabad: The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran has issued a strong condemnation following an armed attack that resulted in the deaths of eight Pakistani nationals in Iran’s Sistan and Balouchestan Province. Describing the incident as both inhumane and cowardly, the embassy called for collective action to combat terrorism in the region.

The embassy’s statement highlighted terrorism as a persistent threat that undermines security and stability across the region. It pointed to the involvement of traitorous elements in collaboration with international terrorism networks as a key factor in such incidents.

In its press release, the embassy urged regional countries to unite in efforts to combat terrorism and extremism. The statement underscored the need for joint initiatives to address what it termed as an “ominous phenomenon” that has resulted in the loss of thousands of innocent lives over recent decades.

The call for collective action reflects growing concerns over regional security and the impact of terrorism. The embassy’s remarks emphasize the importance of cooperation among nations to effectively tackle the threat posed by extremist activities.
