TEHRAN: Iran has pledged full cooperation in addressing the recent deaths of eight Pakistani nationals in Sistan Province. The Iranian government has expressed its condolences and committed to bringing those responsible to justice, as well as facilitating the repatriation of the victims’ remains.

This commitment was communicated to Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister, Mohammad Ishaq Dar, during a phone call from Iran’s Foreign Minister, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi.

During the conversation, the Iranian Foreign Minister provided updates on the talks between Iran and the United States that took place on April 12 in Oman. Deputy Prime Minister Dar acknowledged the discussions and expressed his support for the diplomatic engagement.

The assurance from Iran comes as both countries navigate diplomatic and regional challenges. Iran’s promise of cooperation underscores the importance of bilateral relations amid ongoing international negotiations.
