ISLAMABAD: The Intellectual Property Organization (IPO) of Pakistan is taking steps to improve the communication of its intellectual property rights (IPR) enforcement measures and complaint handling mechanisms. This was emphasized by Prof. Dr. Hafiz Aziz ur Rehman, Chairman of IPO Pakistan, during an internal review meeting. The aim is to increase public awareness and facilitate more effective enforcement.
According to Intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan, the meeting, chaired by Prof. Dr. Rehman, included Mr. Nauman Aslam, Director General of IPO Pakistan, and senior officers of the organization. It focused on reviewing the current IPR enforcement mechanisms and assessing the progress of the online complaint handling system. The meeting also covered ongoing initiatives designed to strengthen enforcement coordination and improve the efficiency and responsiveness of handling complaints.
