Islamabad: Pakistan is not experiencing systemic failure but entering an era of national reforms, Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal announced on Monday. Speaking at an event marking the 79th Independence Day and the 150th birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Iqbal emphasized that the country is on the brink of a new dawn characterized by national unity and development.

According to Press Information Department, the launch ceremony of a new national anthem was not just a musical event but a rallying call for national rejuvenation. Iqbal underscored the ideological legacy of Allama Iqbal and Quaid-e-Azam Jinnah, urging a renewal of commitment to their visions as Pakistan modernizes its institutions and governance to meet contemporary global demands.

The Minister stressed the importance of collective effort for sustainable development, highlighting youth as the nation’s greatest asset. He cited recent economic recovery as evidence of Pakistan’s resilience and outlined the URAAN Pakistan initiative aimed at economic transformation. Iqbal concluded by reaffirming that URAAN is a national mission for Pakistan’s prosperity and self-reliance.
