Islamabad, The interim government of Pakistan, represented by Caretaker Minister for Information, Broadcasting, and Parliamentary Affairs Murtaza Solangi, has affirmed its commitment to holding free and fair elections in the country.
According to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Solangi made this assurance during a meeting with Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervaiz Ashraf in Islamabad. He emphasized that the interim government would provide all necessary resources and support to the Election Commission to ensure the transparency and credibility of the polls.
The Speaker, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, expressed his support for the government’s determination to conduct free, fair, and transparent elections. The meeting between the two leaders included discussions on various significant matters, particularly focusing on the upcoming general elections.
