Institutions Fully Mobilized for Ashura Facilitation and Peace, Says Parliamentary Secretary


Rawalpindi: Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Broadcasting, Barrister Danyal Chaudhry, announced that under the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, all relevant institutions are actively engaged in facilitating mourners and maintaining peace during Ashura.



According to Press Information Department, Barrister Chaudhry, accompanied by MPA Ziaullah Shah, visited several sabeels in Rawalpindi on Friday to assess the arrangements for the occasion. He inspected the facilities provided and instructed staff to treat the service of mourners as a sacred duty, ensuring continuous support for processions and gatherings.



The Parliamentary Secretary emphasized that institutions are coordinating efforts to uphold law and order, promote brotherhood, and ensure religious harmony. Measures have been implemented for cleanliness, medical aid, traffic management, emergency services, and other essential civic facilities.



Barrister Chaudhry highlighted the enduring lessons of truth, justice, patience, and resistance against oppression taught by Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and the martyrs of Karbala. He called on citizens to cooperate with authorities, adhere to the code of conduct, and contribute to the promotion of peace and tolerance.
