MUZAFFARABAD: A conspiracy orchestrated by the banned Awami Action Committee to instigate disorder in Azad Jammu and Kashmir has been unearthed, as authorities intercepted an attempt to smuggle weapons under the pretense of advocating for public rights.
According to Radio Pakistan, police sources disclosed that Azad Jammu and Kashmir Police apprehended two individuals linked to the banned committee at a checkpoint. The suspects were found transporting weapons from Dadyal to Rawalakot, intended for use in violent activities.
During an initial investigation, the detained individuals confessed to acting under the direction of the committee’s ringleaders, identified as Mehran, Aman, and Nazim. Experts have noted that this revelation further exposes the committee’s agenda to provoke unrest under the guise of public advocacy.
