India’s NIA charge sheets 11 in Jharkhand 

New Delhi, November 12, 2022 (PPI-OT):India’s notorious National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a charge sheet against 11 persons affiliated with ongoing freedom movement in the Indian state of Jharkhand. The NIA charge sheeted these persons in a case pertaining to recovery of live ammunition from a Communist Party of India (Maoist) camp at Rud village in the hilly and forested area of Jharkhand in September 2017.

The NIA charge sheeted two arrested persons Prabhu Sao alias Prabhu Prasad Sao and Balram Oraon alias Balram. It also named nine other absconding accused identified as Chhotu Kherwar alias Sujit Kherwar, Ravinder Ganjhu alias Mukesh Ganjhu, Niraj Singh Kherwar, Mrityunjay Bhuiya, Pradeep Singh Kherwar alias Chero, Muneswar Ganjhu alias Munshi, Kajesh Ganjhu, Aghnu Ganjhu alias Aghnu, and Lajim Ansari alias Lajim Miya. The NIA in its charge sheet accused these persons of waging a war against the Indian state and attacking and killing the Indian forces’ personnel as well as innocent civilians among other charges.
