Indian CRPF Soldier Commits Suicide in Kashmir’s Kulgam District

SRINAGAR, A soldier from the Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) tragically ended his own life in the Kulgam district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the soldier committed suicide by using his service rifle near the Jawahar Tunnel in the Qazigund area of the district. The CRPF soldier, who was on duty near B-top in the Jawahar Tunnel area, died instantly at the scene.

This incident follows another similar case that occurred on Thursday, where an Indian army man took his life in the Mohura, Uri area of the Baramulla district. With these recent events, the total number of such fatalities among Indian troops and police personnel in the region has now reached 584 since January 2007.
