Jammu, November 11, 2022 (PPI-OT):The Indian Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested seven more persons involved in a police sub-inspector recruitment case in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. CBI in a statement in Jammu said it has arrested seven persons, including the head constable and constables of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Assistant Sub Inspector of police, and private persons involved in the scam.
The statement reads that the persons were being produced before the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM), Jammu. It reads that searches were earlier conducted at various locations, including IIOJK, Haryana, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh and Karnataka at the premises of involved persons which led to the recovery of a large number of incriminating documents and digital evidence. It said that out of 13 accused arrested earlier, nine are presently in judicial custody and four are in police custody, while the investigation is going on.
