Indian BSF Officer Dies After Sudden Collapse in Srinagar


Srinagar: An Indian Border Security Force (BSF) officer, identified as Biplab Singh, died after losing consciousness in the Pantha Chowk area of Srinagar, Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.



According to information provided by the Kashmir Media Service, Singh, who was a resident of West Bengal, India, suddenly collapsed on duty. He was immediately transferred to Ujala Hospital Srinagar for medical attention. However, upon arrival, hospital officials declared him dead.



An official stated that after the completion of the necessary medico-legal procedures, Singh’s body was handed over to his unit for the continuation of further formalities.



The cause of Singh’s sudden collapse and death has not been disclosed. Further investigations by the authorities may be underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
