Prime Minister Visits Myanmar Embassy, Offers Condolences for Earthquake Victims


Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited the Embassy of Myanmar on Friday, extending his condolences following the earthquake that struck Myanmar on March 28, 2025. The visit highlighted Pakistan’s support and empathy towards the affected nation.



Upon arrival, Prime Minister Sharif was received by Myanmar’s Ambassador, Wunna Han. The ambassador expressed gratitude for the prime minister’s gesture and acknowledged Pakistan’s relief contributions to Myanmar.



During the visit, Prime Minister Sharif signed the condolence book, a gesture of solidarity with the victims and their families impacted by the natural disaster. The meeting underscored the bilateral relations and humanitarian cooperation between Pakistan and Myanmar.



The visit was organized in response to the embassy’s initiative to honor the lives lost in the earthquake. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting provided details of the visit.
