Srinagar: The Indian Army has introduced ‘Kamikaze’ drones in the region of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir to address increasing pro-freedom activities.
According to a statement by Kashmir Media Service, the drones are engineered to “identify, track and neutralise threats with precision strikes” and have been recently deployed in the territory.
These drones are specifically being used in areas near the Line of Control (LoC). Officials indicated that the deployment is in response to a surge in pro-freedom activities in the region.
The drones possess the capability to hover over a target, evaluate the situation, and execute precise strikes.
Equipped with high-resolution cameras and explosive payloads, these drones are considered effective for targeting specific threats, officials noted.
