Islamabad, July 11, 2022 (PPI-OT):All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Kashmir chapter Convener Mahmood Ahmad Saghar has said that the Modi-led fascist Indian government violated basic human rights by imposing restrictions on the Eid ul Azha congregational prayers in Srinagar’s historic Jamia Masjid and at central Eidgahs in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir on the Eid day.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Mahmood Ahmad Saghar in a statement issued in Islamabad said that by locking the main gate of Jamia Masjid, Srinagar, the Indian authorities have proved that they do not care about the religious sentiments of Kashmiri Muslims.
He condemned the killing of one more youth in police custody saying that India has intensified martyring innocent youth in the garb of so-called siege and search operations in the territory. He pointed out that New Delhi cannot change the basic reality of the Kashmir dispute by arresting and killing innocent youth.
Mahmood Ahmed Sagar said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs would not be in vain. He said that the only solution to the problem was lying in implementation of the UN resolutions on Kashmiri. He demanded of the United Nations to take notice of inhumane atrocities in occupied Kashmir.
