Jammu, December 30, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a meeting of the several socio-political activists was arranged in Jammu by the United Peace Alliance (UPA) to discuss the prevailing socio-political and security scenario in the territory and across India.
Speaking on the occasion, APHC leader and the Chairman of UPA Mir Shahid Saleem, said that India was completely taken over by the communal forces who are hell bent upon creating an environment of fear and terror among the minorities, especially the Muslims.
He said the so-called religious assembly or Dharam Sansad in Haridwar town of the Indian state of Uttarakhand has called for an open massacre of the Muslims in India to pave way for establishment of the Hindu Rashtra. He said what was more horrifying was that the law enforcing agencies remained a mute spectator and did not intervene to stop this criminal assembly of hate mongers.
Earlier, a symbolic protest was also held against the killing threats by these communal elements. Several other speakers who spoke on the occasion said that New Delhi was destroying everything in Jammu and Kashmir. They said that jobs lands and resources were being snatched away from the people of Jammu and Kashmir. They called for a united battle by the people of Jammu and Kashmir to restore their political and economic rights.
Prominent among those who participated included Sheikh Abdul Rehman former Member of Indian Parliament, Ishwar Dass Khajuria, Ram Singh Chouhan, Khalid Tufail, Narender Singh Khalsa, Muhammad Altaf Butt, Syed Nazir Shah, Sukhdev Singh and others.
Meanwhile, the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement Vice Chairman Abdul Majeed Malik, Jammu and Kashmir Pir Panjal Freedom Movement Vice Chairman Qazi Imran, Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Association Convener Khalid Shabbir, and Jammu and Kashmir United Forum Vice Chairman Sajjad Ahmed in a joint statement issued in Islamabad said India is now trying in vain to achieve its nefarious goals by dividing the Kashmiri people on communal lines to cover up its failure in IIOJK. They urged the people of the occupied territory to forge greater unity among their ranks to frustrate India’s wicked designs.
