Islamabad, August 14, 2021 (PPI-OT): On 11 August 2021, the Government of Japan has decided to allow the re-entry into Japan from Pakistan as follows; The re-entry into Japan of foreign nationals with status of residence who have stayed in Pakistan within 14 days prior to the application for landing will be allowed from 0:00am (JST) on August 13, 2021.

(Note) With regard to the new entry of foreign nationals from Pakistan, those who are acknowledged to have special exceptional circumstances by Japanese authorities may enter Japan even if they have stayed in Pakistan within 14 days prior to the application for landing into Japan. Those foreign nationals have a visa issued by Japanese overseas establishments.

We would appreciate it if your team could notify all related airlines that they should inform all concerned passengers of those measures in order for them to avoid unnecessary inconvenience travelling to Japan.
