Srinagar, January 28, 2023 (PPI-OT):The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has said that appalling human rights situation in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir needs urgent attention of the international community to avert a big catastrophe looming in the horizon of South Asia. The All Parties Hurriyat Conference in a statement in Srinagar said that tyrant Indian regime led by Narendra Modi was brazenly violating international laws in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, particularly after the revocation of territory’s special status by New Delhi in August 2019.

APHC leaders Bilal Siddiqi, Yasmeen Raja, Dr Musaib and Jammu based Hurriyat leaders Israr Ahmed and Malik Noor Fayaz in their separate statements said, the fascist regime is using all brutal tactics including killings, abductions, torture and molestation of women to crush the Kashmiris’ ongoing freedom struggle. The leaders warned the international community that the Indian government’s Hindutva agenda poses a grave threat to peace in South Asia as New Delhi has broken all records of brutalities in the occupied territory.

They said that Indian troops and police personnel have illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and are harassing and victimizing people of Kashmir. The leaders appealed to the United Nations to stop gross human rights violations in the occupied territory and take notice of the plight of illegally detained Hurriyat leaders and activists languishing in different jails of India and the territory.
