Islamabad: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi conducted a comprehensive review of traffic management and public facilitation measures during his visit to the Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) Headquarters. The visit, attended by Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Islamabad Kainaat Azhar Khan and other senior police officials, focused on evaluating and enhancing the efficiency of traffic operations and citizen services.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the IGP was briefed on the current performance of the Islamabad Traffic Police, including traffic management, operational affairs, enforcement of traffic laws, and citizen facilities. Various strategies aimed at improving traffic flow and addressing traffic-related challenges in the city were discussed.

IGP Rizvi emphasized the importance of utilizing available resources effectively to enhance traffic flow and ensure a safe and convenient travel environment for citizens. He highlighted the need for modern technology and advanced traffic management systems to strengthen field monitoring, identify traffic issues, and ensure their timely resolution.

The IGP directed traffic officers to maintain professional conduct when interacting with the public and focus on resolving public complaints promptly.
