IGP Islamabad Reviews Security Measures and Police Station Upgrades at Key Meetings

ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi convened significant meetings at the Central Police Office, focusing on security, police station upgrades, and development projects. The gatherings were attended by senior officers, including AIG Logistics, AIG General, and AIG Special Initiatives.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the IGP assessed the current law and order situation and tasked officers with maintaining peace and security across the federal capital. Emphasizing the protection of citizens, he reviewed the progress of upgrading police stations under the SIPS protocol and urged officers to complete pending construction swiftly.

Further directives included equipping police stations with advanced facilities and expediting ongoing development projects, such as the Islamabad Model Jail. At an open court held under the “Open Door Policy,” IGP Rizvi addressed issues raised by citizens and police officers, advocating for fair and prompt resolution of complaints. He reiterated that the Islamabad Police remain committed to citizen facilitation and transparency.
