ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi conducted a critical review of security and traffic plans in anticipation of upcoming visits by foreign delegations. Senior officials from the Islamabad Police, Punjab Police, and Frontier Constabulary participated in the meeting to discuss strategic security measures for the federal capital.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting focused on enhancing security protocols, with particular emphasis on inter-provincial coordination, effective joint operations, and heightened surveillance of sensitive locations. The goal is to ensure seamless security arrangements while maintaining efficient traffic management to minimize inconvenience to citizens.
IGP Rizvi issued directives to ensure all relevant institutions remain in close coordination and ready to respond to any potential situations. He stressed the importance of balancing security with effective traffic arrangements to provide a safe and peaceful environment for both citizens and foreign guests.
The IGP emphasized that maintaining law and order in Islamabad and offering optimal facilities to residents are top priorities. Officers have been instructed to utilize all available resources and maintain a consistent presence in the field to ensure the successful implementation of security and traffic measures.
