ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police, under directives from Federal Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi and IGP Islamabad Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry, are emphasizing the swift resolution of citizen complaints and are actively working to reunite missing children with their families. This initiative includes holding open courts and utilizing various police resources to address these concerns efficiently.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, DIG Islamabad Ali Waseem and SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza have conducted open courts, allowing citizens to present their issues directly. These sessions facilitate immediate action by the concerned officers. Citizens are encouraged to use the IGP Complaint Cell at 1715 to register grievances. Senior police officers are also holding open courts in their respective areas to ensure prompt issue resolution.
SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza reiterated the police’s zero-tolerance policy towards violence against women and children. He assured that all citizen applications will be addressed on merit. The police’s efforts to reunite missing children have seen success, with over eight children safely returned to their families in the past month.
