IGP Islamabad Reviews Police Welfare, Commends Officers, and Addresses Grievances


Islamabad: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry convened a meeting with officers of the Logistics Division to evaluate welfare measures and facilities available to police personnel. Discussions centered on the needs of police employees, existing facilities, and welfare initiatives.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, IGP Islamabad underscored the importance of police welfare as a critical institutional priority, instructing officers to enhance welfare measures and ensure their effective implementation. He highlighted that resolving legitimate issues promptly and providing better facilities are crucial for boosting police morale and performance.



In line with these initiatives, IGP Islamabad invited officers and officials who showed exceptional dedication in their duties to the Central Police Office. He acknowledged their professionalism and efforts in safeguarding citizen lives and property, awarding them certificates of appreciation.



IGP Islamabad stated that dedicated and professional officers are valuable assets to the Islamabad Police. Recognizing outstanding performance not only encourages deserving officers but motivates the entire force for greater commitment.



Additionally, IGP Islamabad conducted an Orderly Room to personally address departmental and personal grievances of police officers. He directed senior officers to resolve these issues promptly and fairly.



Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry reaffirmed that police welfare, grievance redressal, and performance recognition remain key priorities. He assured that efforts to improve welfare, facilities, and morale will persist.
