ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, led a significant meeting to assess the current law and order situation, operational strategies, security arrangements, and Safe City operations in the federal capital. Key discussions focused on enhancing the use of technology and interdepartmental coordination to better serve the public.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting was attended by senior officials, including DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq and DIG Headquarters Muhammad Atiq Tahir. The review encompassed critical aspects such as the effective utilization of Safe City technology, force management, crime prevention measures, and the emergency response system. The IGP emphasized strengthening modern technology use, effective surveillance, and coordinated operational planning.
IGP Rizvi instructed officers to ensure prompt resolution of public complaints and maintain a responsive emergency system. He urged for transparent and professional policing services to be provided at every level, aiming to protect citizens’ lives and property while preventing crime and maintaining law and order.
