Islamabad: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry visited Capital Patrols Headquarters and several police stations including Ramna, Lohi Bher, and Koral, where he reviewed ongoing development efforts and public facilities.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the IGP was briefed at Capital Patrols Headquarters on development projects and operational matters. He acknowledged the crucial role of the Capital Patrols Unit in ensuring citizen safety through continuous patrolling and rapid emergency responses. The IGP emphasized improving patrolling, response times, and field presence to enhance public service delivery.

During visits to the police stations, the IGP inspected construction work under the SIPS protocols and evaluated facilities for police officers and public services. Captain (Retd.) Chaudhry instructed officers to expedite construction projects while adhering to quality standards. He stressed providing better working conditions for police staff and ensuring that stations remain clean and safe for citizens.

Highlighting the importance of police stations as primary contact points for citizens, the IGP urged for effective and respectful service delivery. He called for practical measures to improve administrative functions and enhance policing quality. The IGP also emphasized the need for close monitoring and timely completion of development projects to benefit both police officials and the public.
