ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi organized a Khuli Katchery at the Central Police Office in Islamabad to address grievances from both citizens and police officials, issuing immediate directives for resolution.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, during the Khuli Katchery, IGP Rizvi emphasized the importance of resolving citizen issues fairly, stating that any negligence or dereliction of duty would not be tolerated. He encouraged citizens facing police-related issues to attend the sessions, assuring that his office remains accessible to the public.
IGP Rizvi instructed officers to resolve public grievances within a specified timeframe and report back to the Central Police Office. Additionally, he directed all Sub-Divisional Police Officers (SDPOs) and Station House Officers (SHOs) to adhere to office hours and prioritize resolving complaints promptly. He noted that holding daily Khuli Katchery sessions ensures the prompt and priority-based resolution of public grievances.
