ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi recently conducted a thorough evaluation of ongoing development projects and administrative matters within the Islamabad Police.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, IGP Rizvi reviewed the progress on various construction and administrative initiatives and was briefed by the Assistant Director of Development on the status of these projects. He instructed officials to adhere to established timelines and ensure project quality and transparency.

IGP Rizvi highlighted the importance of modernizing institutional infrastructure to meet current needs, thereby enhancing working conditions for police personnel and improving policing services for the public. Emphasizing the necessity of effective project monitoring and inter-departmental coordination, he urged the timely completion of all initiatives.

In line with community engagement efforts, IGP Rizvi organized a Khuli Katchery at the Central Police Office, facilitating direct communication between citizens, police officials, and himself. He addressed public grievances, providing immediate directives for their resolution and reinforcing the priority of timely and fair grievance handling by the Islamabad Police.

He also mandated that Sub-Divisional Police Officers (SDPOs) and Station House Officers (SHOs) hold regular meetings with citizens to address their concerns, maintaining the Open Door Policy to strengthen community-focused policing efforts.
