Islamabad: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry convened a meeting with senior police officials to evaluate security, policing, and public service delivery. The gathering addressed measures to enhance law and order and ensure effective citizen facilitation.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the IGP directed officers to focus on professional policing, effective monitoring, and citizen protection. He stressed the importance of responsibility and dedication in police duties.
Following the meeting, IGP Chaudhry, accompanied by DIG Islamabad Ali Waseem, visited the G-14 checkpoint to assess security protocols. The IGP instructed officers to maintain vigilance, perform thorough checks, and safeguard citizens’ lives and property.
The IGP also acknowledged exceptional police performance, awarding appreciation certificates to officers for their contributions. The recognition of outstanding work aims to foster professionalism and commitment within the force. The commitment to quality service delivery remains a priority for Islamabad Police.
