Islamabad: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry convened an Orderly Room at the Central Police Office (CPO) in Islamabad, addressing service-related and personal issues presented by police officers and officials.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the IGP engaged with the concerns in detail and instructed the relevant officers to take timely actions aligned with existing rules and regulations to resolve legitimate issues. Captain (Retd.) Chaudhry emphasized the importance of addressing the concerns of police officers and officials as a key aspect of departmental operations. He urged officers to ensure that applications and departmental matters are not unnecessarily delayed and that all issues are handled on merit, transparently, and in accordance with prescribed rules.

The IGP highlighted the continuous duty of police officers and officials in protecting citizens, stressing the need for special attention to their legitimate concerns and welfare. He directed officers to engage with their subordinates’ issues and support them in their public service duties. Additionally, he assured that both serving and retired police officers could meet him directly regarding their concerns and departmental matters, reinforcing the commitment of Islamabad Police to provide effective and direct access for its personnel.
