IG Punjab Reviews Elite Police Training to Bolster Force Capabilities

Lahore, Inspector General Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, emphasized the critical role of the elite force in maintaining security against terrorism and extremism in Punjab. In a comprehensive review meeting at the Central Police Office, Dr. Anwar directed enhancements in the training and response capabilities of the elite force, advocating for the engagement of expert instructors to refine their operational skills.

According to Punjab Police, the meeting focused on expediting the construction of facilities at the Elite Police Center to meet high standards promptly. Dr. Anwar stressed the importance of completing the development projects, including barracks and hostels, under strict supervision. He also insisted on providing optimal training, nourishment, and amenities to the elite personnel under training. The session was attended by senior officials, including Additional IG Elite Muhammad Waqar Abbasi and Commandant Elite Police Training School Colonel Khalid Sulaiman.
