Lahore: Inspector General of Police Punjab Abdul Kareem met with police employees and their families at the Central Police Office, issuing immediate instructions to address their concerns. The meeting aimed to provide a platform for police personnel and their families to voice their issues, with a focus on resolving them promptly.
According to Punjab Police, the IG responded to several applications during the meeting. For a request concerning the promotion of five constables, he instructed the Additional IG Punjab to consider the matter. In response to Constable Riyasat Ali’s plea regarding the cancellation of a criminal case, the DIG Investigation Lahore was tasked with taking necessary action. Additionally, the RPO Multan was directed to address a training course application submitted by three head constables. In another case, involving the recruitment of the son of the late Sub-Inspector Sajjad Ahmad, the Additional IG Punjab was asked to review the matter. Directions were also issued on various other applications related to discipline, administration, promotions, and welfare, emphasizing the commitment to addressing the needs of the police force and their families.
