Lahore: Inspector General of Police Punjab, Abdul Kareem, took significant steps to address the concerns of police employees and their families during a meeting at the Central Police Office. IG Punjab listened to their issues and promptly ordered concerned officers to provide immediate relief.
According to Punjab Police, the meeting led to specific directives being issued. Lady Constable Sidra Naeem’s transfer request was forwarded to the Additional IG Punjab for action. The widow of the late Head Constable Saleem Haider, seeking her son’s recruitment, received assurance that the Additional IG Punjab would consider the matter. Lady Constable Rabia Yasin’s concerns about departmental and legal proceedings were directed to the RPO Sahiwal for necessary action. Additionally, for suspended Constable Tahir Siddique, seeking reinstatement, orders were given to the SP Headquarters Lahore to provide relief. Other applications regarding discipline, administration, promotion, and welfare issues were also addressed by IG Punjab Abdul Kareem.
