Srinagar, June 17, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Kashmiri civil society member, Sajad Ahmed Sofi, who spent days in jail for his harmless comments has said that he committed no offense when he said that he had more expectations from Kashmiris. Sajad Ahmed Sofi in a media statement said, “I had committed no offence.
All I had said was as a Kashmiri I have more expectations from Kashmiris [than Indian outsiders].” Scores of people Thursday visited the house of Sajad in Ganderbal, after he was released. Sajad was arrested after he had said that he had “less expectations” from non-local officers during a public Durbar held in Ganderbal. Sajad was arrested and booked under 153 A of the Indian Penal Code.
