Srinagar, June 19, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, APHC leader and the Chairman of Peoples Political Party (PPP), Engineer Hilal Ahmad War has urged the United Nations to take cognizance of grave situation and human rights violations being committed by Indian troops in the territory.

Engineer Hilal Ahmad War in a statement issued in Srinagar said, the recent deployment of additional Indian troops in IIOJK proves that Modi-led fascist Indian government is working on a dangerous plan with regard to the territory by changing the demographic structure, further divide the territory and finally remove the name of Kashmir from the map of IIOJK on the pattern of Junagarh.

He appealed to the UN to put pressure on India to reverse all its illegal actions taken on and post August 5, 2019 and restore the position and status of the territory as it existed on August 4, 2019. He further said that it was obligatory for the United Nations to implement its resolutions on Kashmir to give the Kashmiris their birth right to self-determination so that they could decide their political future and status as enshrined in the UN Charter.
