Gwadar: The GDA Pak China Friendship Hospital, managed by Indus Hospital and Health Network, has unveiled a new intra-articular injection procedure designed to treat joint ailments more effectively, including pain and inflammation. This technique involves the direct injection of medicine into the joint, providing immediate relief and long-term improvement for patients, particularly those suffering from arthritis who have found little success with other treatments.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Dr. Nurullah Khan Achakzai, Head of the Family Medicine Department at GDA Pak China Friendship Hospital, has pioneered this innovative procedure. A native of Quetta, Balochistan, Dr. Achakzai is renowned for his expertise and has introduced this treatment in response to the rising number of joint disease cases in Gwadar and its neighboring areas. The hospital’s adoption of this modern medical technique not only marks a significant advancement in treatment options available but also plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall quality of public health in the region.
