Govt takes substantial steps to facilitate low-income groups

Islamabad, November 07, 2021 (PPI-OT):Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Farrukh Habib has said the government has taken substantial steps to facilitate low-income groups as 120 billion rupees have been allocated to issue Ehsaas Ration Cards to deserving families.

Talking to media persons in Faisalabad, he said despite corona pandemic challenge, Pakistan’s economy remained stable and showed growth due to pragmatic policies of the PTI government. The Minister of State said the government will immediately reduce prices of daily use commodities to give more relief to the people as soon as reduction in global inflation is witnessed. He said that sale of imported sugar at 90 rupees per kg is also being ensured through district governments.
