Islamabad: The government is prioritizing the provision of affordable housing for industrial workers, according to Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development.
Speaking at the inauguration of electricity supply to a newly constructed labor complex in the city, Hussain emphasized the government’s commitment to using all available resources to support industrial workers. He stressed that providing housing is a top priority.
During the event, Hussain also directed officials to expedite the allotment process for the houses and apartments to ensure that deserving and eligible workers receive them promptly.
After the inauguration, the Minister inspected the newly constructed houses and apartments. He expressed satisfaction with the quality of the construction work.
This initiative is part of the government’s broader efforts to enhance the welfare of industrial workers and improve their living conditions. The Minister’s remarks underscore a focused approach towards addressing the housing needs of this segment of the workforce.
