Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori celebrated the 53rd National Day of the United Arab Emirates by hoisting the UAE flag in a ceremony attended by prominent UAE diplomats. The event featured fireworks and the playing of national anthems, symbolizing the deep ties between Pakistan and the UAE.
According to Sindh Governor House, the ceremony was held at Press Club Chowk, where UAE Ambassador Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Alzaabi and Consul General Dr. Bakheet Ateeq Al Remethi joined the Governor. Governor Tesori conveyed his congratulations to the people of the UAE and emphasized the long-standing relationship between the two countries. He highlighted the emotional connection shared by the people of Pakistan with the UAE and noted the ambassador’s assurance of providing opportunities for IT students.
During the event, Governor Tesori and Ambassador Alzaabi distributed gifts to children waving the UAE and Pakistani flags. Governor Tesori expressed solidarity with the UAE, underscoring the mutual respect and affection between the two nations.
