Islamabad: The Minister of State for Interior, Talal Chaudhry, has reiterated that ensuring the safety of citizens and their property throughout the period of Muharram-ul-Haram remains the government’s primary concern. Chaudhry’s statements were made during a review meeting held in Islamabad, highlighting the government’s commitment to maintaining law and order during this significant time.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting was convened to assess the security arrangements planned for Muharram, with a detailed briefing provided on the strategies in place for managing processions and majalis. The focus of the discussion was on the implementation of a comprehensive security plan to safeguard participants and preserve public order during the religious observances.
