LAHORE: The Punjab government has initiated the establishment of tribunals at the district level to address land disputes, as outlined in the Punjab Property Ownership Amendment Act. These tribunals are scheduled to begin operations on Saturday.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court, Justice Aalia Neelum, has assigned additional sessions judges to serve as tribunals across 36 districts. This move aims to streamline the resolution of property-related conflicts and provide a more efficient legal framework for land dispute settlements.
