Government Initiates Steps to Enhance Welfare of Working Class, Says Awn Chaudhry


ISLAMABAD: The government is taking concrete measures to improve the welfare of the working class, including ensuring access to quality education for their children, providing residential facilities, and implementing other welfare initiatives. This announcement was made by Muhammad Awn Chaudhry, Minister of State for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, during his visit to the Workers Welfare Fund Secretariat in Islamabad.



According to Radio Pakistan, Minister Chaudhry highlighted the government’s commitment to improving the quality of life for workers and praised the efforts of the Workers Welfare Fund for modernizing its operations. He specifically commended the Fund’s move towards digitalization and its implementation of a cashless policy to enhance transparency and meritocracy.



Upon his arrival, Minister Chaudhry was warmly received by Secretary of the Workers Welfare Fund Zulfiqar Ahmed and senior officials. During his visit, he was briefed on the ongoing welfare projects aimed at supporting industrial workers and their families.
