Government Focuses on Youth Empowerment and Employment Opportunities


Swat: Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Program, Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, emphasized the government’s commitment to socio-economic empowerment and securing dignified employment for the youth.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, addressing a gathering of young people in Malam Jabba, Rana Mashhood outlined the initiatives under the Prime Minister’s Youth Skills Development Program, which aims to create employment opportunities both domestically and internationally. He highlighted the allocation of 36 billion rupees for projects focusing on vocational, IT, and technical education.



Rana Mashhood mentioned that students from all provinces would benefit significantly from this initiative. The program plans to facilitate the youth with necessary education and IT training, followed by opportunities for overseas employment. He also announced the establishment of Youth Facilitation Centers in every district within the next three months. Upon completion of a six-month IT course, each participant is expected to earn approximately 100,000 rupees monthly in their hometown.



Rana Mashhood further stated that Uraan Pakistan is poised to bring substantial benefits to the youth and contribute to the economic growth of the country.
