ISLAMABAD: The government has implemented a series of challenging measures aimed at steering the nation away from financial default, according to Amir Muqam, Minister for Kashmir Affairs. These efforts, he said, are designed to foster economic stability.
According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Muqam made these remarks during the oath-taking ceremony of the All Pakistan Government Employees Confederation in Islamabad. The Minister highlighted a decrease in inflation, a reduction in the policy rate, and a rise in remittances as indicators of the government’s progress.
Muqam acknowledged the challenges faced by government employees, emphasizing that the Prime Minister is committed to alleviating their hardships. He noted that a committee has been established to engage in productive discussions with employees’ representatives. The Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to continue working towards the welfare of its employees.
