Government Announces New Petroleum Prices, Petrol and Diesel Rates Increased

ISLAMABAD: The government has announced a revision in the prices of petroleum products, effective today, with increases in both petrol and diesel rates. The price adjustment comes as part of a routine review of fuel pricing.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Ministry of Energy has issued a press release detailing the changes. The price of petrol has been raised by 4.93 rupees per liter, bringing the new cost to 320.73 rupees per liter. In addition, the price of High Speed Diesel has been increased by 7.15 rupees per liter, setting the new rate at 367.21 rupees per liter.

These adjustments reflect the government’s ongoing efforts to align domestic fuel prices with international market trends.
