Islamabad: Chairman Senate Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani has called for a revamp of the educational curriculum to better align with the needs of the modern age and job market demands. Speaking at a convocation ceremony for a private university in Islamabad, he highlighted the crucial role of education in the nation’s progress.
According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Gillani emphasized that the future of Pakistan is in the hands of its youth, expressing confidence in their potential. He underscored the importance of education in fostering awareness and consciousness among citizens.
Gillani pointed to the necessity of integrating Information Technology (IT) training with traditional education to enhance students’ skills and employability. He noted that adapting to technological advancements is essential for staying competitive in today’s job market.
