Islamabad: The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced the schedule for the MCQ Based Preliminary Test (MPT) for the CSS Competitive Examination 2025. Aspiring candidates are required to apply online by the 26th of August 2024, and the test is set to occur on the 6th of October 2024.
According to Federal Public Service Commission, the MPT is mandatory for all applicants aiming to participate in the main written CSS Competitive Examination in 2025, covering twelve occupational groups and services of the federal government. The examination will be held in various centers across Pakistan, including major cities like Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, and Peshawar, among others.
The FPSC emphasizes that eligibility for the CSS exam requires at least a Bachelor’s degree and includes age, qualification, and domicile conditions, with the cutoff date for determining eligibility set as December 31, 2024. Candidates must also adhere to the CSS Competitive Examination Rules of 2019, as amended. Detailed procedures for application submission and syllabus are available on the FPSC’s official website.
