Four Members of Snatcher Gang Arrested by Islamabad Police

Islamabad: The Islamabad Police apprehended four members of a notorious snatcher gang involved in numerous bike lifting and snatching incidents, recovering stolen cash and mobile phones. The arrests were made by the Tarnol police team, utilizing both technical and human resources.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the detained individuals already have cases registered against them, and further investigations are ongoing. Deputy Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Muhammad Jawad Tariq, emphasized that rigorous actions are being undertaken against motorcycle theft and street robbery in the city. He noted that these operations have led to a decrease in such crimes in the federal capital.

Tariq urged police officers to sustain the crackdown on criminal elements and ensure that offenders are held accountable. He also called on citizens to cooperate with law enforcement by reporting any suspicious activities or objects to local police stations or the emergency helpline, “Pucar-15.”
