FLSmidth Launches Training Program for Pakistani Engineers in Mining Sector

Islamabad: A delegation from FLSmidth, a prominent player in sustainable technology for the mining and cement sectors, met with Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz to discuss Pakistan’s vision for responsible mining. The visit coincides with the ongoing Pakistan Minerals Investment Forum, where the delegation announced a training program for 100 Pakistani engineers in minerals and mining.

Minister Pervaiz expressed appreciation for FLSmidth’s commitment to sustainable development, noting the government’s interest in incorporating advanced technologies in mining. He emphasized the importance of skills development in Balochistan, which he believes is key to the region’s progress.
