Lahore: The inaugural Hajj flight under the “Road to Makkah” project took off from Lahore today, marking a significant milestone in the facilitation of Pakistani pilgrims. The departure was witnessed by key officials, including the Minister for Religious Affairs, Sardar Muhammad Yousuf, and the Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, at Allama Iqbal International Airport.
According to Radio Pakistan, the ceremony was attended by dignitaries who bid farewell to the pilgrims embarking on their spiritual journey. During his address, Minister Sardar Muhammad Yousuf emphasized the importance of complying with Saudi Arabian laws and regulations, urging the pilgrims to maintain discipline during their pilgrimage.
