Karachi: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb today launched the InvestPak portal, an online platform designed to facilitate investment for both individual and corporate investors. The portal aims to promote foreign investment by providing easy access to opportunities through a modern digital platform.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Finance Minister stated that the government is committed to maximizing facilitation for investors. The portal allows individual investors to make small investments starting from five thousand rupees via Easypaisa or JazzCash accounts. The initiative is expected to enhance growth in the capital market and contribute to the strengthening of the national economy.
The Finance Minister highlighted that Pakistan’s economy is on a positive trajectory, with economic indicators showing signs of stability. He mentioned an increase in the number of investors engaging with the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan, Jamil Ahmed, also addressed the ceremony, noting that InvestPak offers a single digital platform for onboarding investors, opening IPS accounts, and investing in government securities. He emphasized the portal’s efficiency and transparency for both retail and corporate investors.
